Ein Interview mit Okan am Set von “Waiting”. Das Interview gibt Okan in DGS (Deutscher Gebärdensprache). Dazu gibt es ein Voice Over in Deutsch und Untertitel in Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch!

DEUTSCH:

Für einige Gehörlose mag das hier vielleicht zuerst komisch sein. Für mich war die Musik schon immer am schönsten. Sie ist wie eine Therapie für mich. Sie ist beruhigend. Ich finde es toll, wenn bei der Musik auch noch Gebärdensprache dabei ist. Dann kann ich die Musik voll verstehen und aufnehmen. Es lässt mich in eure Welt eintauchen. Von den letzten zwei Tagen bin ich wirklich begeistert. Es macht wirklich Spaß. Es sind sympathische Leute, der Umgang locker und die Zusammenarbeit prima. Die Leute sind motiviert Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Für mich ist es leicht, mich einzufügen. Früher war es typisch, dass ich, wenn die Kommunikation schlecht lief, eher Abstand zu den anderen Darstellern gehalten habe. Für mich gab es hier keine Probleme. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass wir alle gleich sind. Für mich gab es hier keine Barrieren. Natürlich können Gehörlose auch bei Musikprojekten mitmachen! Selbstverständlich ist dieser Bereich auch für Gehörlose da. Das Musik nichts für Gehörlose ist, weil sie nicht hören können, das stimmt nicht. Es gibt andere Möglichkeiten Gehörlosen ein Gefühl für die Musik geben zu können. Also, demnächst wird von der Band Breitenbach das Musikvideo „Waiting“ veröffentlicht. Schaut es euch an, dann wisst ihr, wovon wir reden!

Some people with hearing impairments may find this project a bit strange at first… But to me, music has always been important and a sort of therapy. Music calms me. Music combined with signing is even better. Through signing I can get the essence of music and fully enjoy it. Signing helps me understand your hearing world better. The last two days have been amazing for me. It was so much fun. The people are very sympathetic, good company and easy to work with. The people are highly motivated to learn from each other. I integrated easily. It used to be typical for me to stay avoid other performers because it felt difficult to communicate. This time I´ve had no problems at all. I really felt like we were the same. There were no barriers at all. It is possible for Deaf or Hard of Hearing people can work on musical projects like this. No doubt – these works can be accessible for Deaf or Hard of Hearing people. It´s a misconception that Deaf people can´t engage with music, just because they can´t hear. There other options to transmit the feeling of music to people with hearing impairments. Soon the music video “Waiting” by Breitenbach will be published. Have a look and you´ll know what we are talking about.

Pour certains malentendants cela pourrait d’abord paraître bizarre. Pour moi la musique à toujours été le plus beau. Elle est comme une thérapie pour moi. Elle est relaxante. Je trouve ça super lorsqu’on a avec la musique le langage des signes.
Dans ce cas je peux complètement comprendre la musique et la ressentir. Cela me laisse entrer dans votre monde. Je suis vraiment ravi des deux derniers jours. Ça fait vraiment plaisir. Ce sont des gens sympa, le ton est léger et la collaboration est bonne.
Les gens sont motivés à gagner en expérience. Il est facile pour moi de m’intégrer. Avant c’était typique que quand on avait des problèmes de communication, je prenais mes distances envers les autres acteurs.
Pour moi il n’y avait pas eu de problèmes ici. J’avais l’impression que nous étions tous pareils. Ici, il n’y avait pas de barrières pour moi.
Bien sûr que des sourds peuvent aussi participer à des projets musicaux !
Bien sûr que e secteur est aussi là pour les sourds.
Ce n’est pas vrai, que la musique n’est rien pour les sourds car ils ne peuvent pas l’entendre. Il y a d’autres moyens pour donner aux sourds une sensation pour la musique Donc, prochainement le groupe Breitenbach publiera la vidéo « Waiting ».
